Candy Bar Cookies
Ingredients
Cookies
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 10 regular Snickers bars, cut into 1-inch pieces
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
- Milk
Directions
Heat the oven to 350° F.
Cream together the butter, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla together. Add the eggs one at a time, beating between each addition. Gradually add in the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Cover the dough and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Roll into 1-inch balls, press a piece of candy bar into each, and place on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Combine the powdered sugar and cocoa powder together, and add milk 1 Tablespoon at a time until the glaze is just thin enough to drizzle. Spoon over the cooled cookies and leave to dry.
